Last Saturday was Stratford’s third annual Big Day, a chance for clubs and organizations to give back to the school and overall community.
Activities were far-reaching and numerous: a food drive by the Academy of Finance, murals by the art club, painted light posts by the Spartanaires, and yard work by athletic trainers and the Persian club.
Some students went outside of Stratford to volunteer; Student Council brought breakfast to a fire station, Key Club socialized with elders at a nursing home, National Honor Society packed boxes at the Houston Food Bank, and HOSA volunteered at a veterinary clinic.
All in all, this year’s Big Day was a testament to the power of teamwork and dedication. Thanks to everyone who participated!
